An Account of Her Funeral Service
The funeral service for Kylee Martelli was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Saturday, December 28th, 2019. The family received friends and guests beginning at ten o’clock in the morning, with a mass of Christian burial to follow at eleven o’clock. The Reverend Father James Dolan officiated the service.
Pallbearers were Kylee’s cousins: Steven Martelli, Jr., Andrew Martelli, and Anthony Martelli. Honorary pallbearers were her close friends: Jennifer Fontenot, Sarah Johnson, Emily Bertrand, and Caroline Babin.
Kylee’s obituary was read aloud during the service by her aunt Kathy Breaux. The eulogy was given by her best friend Jennifer Fontenot. A video montage of photos set to music was shown during the service, highlighting key moments throughout Kylee’s life.
After the mass, guests proceeded to Resthaven Gardens of Memory for burial services.
